Element of Fire

Fire in the human psyche is expressed as Will. The will of the ego and the Will of the soul. In the journey of inner transformation many times there is an opposition between the two. This duality is overcome through unifying what was separated. The unifying force is Eros, it is the deep Love for Life as a whole, an unquestioned force that transforms sacrifice and death to completeness and forgiveness. Each time this event occurs in ourselves, a revelation takes place, the old cloth of the past is shed and the inner light is expressed though a more transparent personality.

      The process of  unveiling the personal truth, which stays hidden under layers of acquired perception, is at the same time the journey to find  wholeness, freedom, home. The archetypical quest for Home, the Odyssey, is a universal symbol. It teaches us that in the face of adversity, being humbled, is the only way to remember the miracle of life. This choice brings us closer to our divine origin and we are able to act on our hidden possibility.

    Where is our will guiding us, individually and collectively? Are we looking exactly where we want to go?

    The will of humans is the force creating history. It has shaped our environment, our lives, our bodies, our thought and perception. Countless times people have gathered under a "banner" and marched forth to create various results. In my view the deepest value in all human endeavours, what actually stays, is the expansion of consciousness that each individual experiences. After everything conquered, everything possessed is gone, there lays the bare truth of who we really are, and what we really want. Freedom is to willingly uncover and clarify the purpose of the soul, meaning to understand our innate virtue and offer ourselves to the world.
