Since 2022 I have been developing the series "VULCAN VILLA" focused on the elements of fire and electricity, on the effects of light through matter, on minerals, geological phenomena and more. Here is showcased only a fraction of the works that belong to the series. The presentation is evolving beyond traditional painting to installation using also sewn fabric, metal and wood.
The project is heavily influenced by the archetype of the Greek god Hephaestus and also contains subtle hinted symbolisms of bravery, sacrifice and battle. It is inspired by myths and stories who revolve around the act of letting go, transformation, love, death and freedom.

The God Of Fire and Crafts Hephaestus (Vulcan in roman) exists as the archetype behind material creation. He remains a force unseen, crystalized in molecules, gifting the form, giving light and vision to our eyes and fire to our hearts. Tireless he serves the archetype of his wife Aphrodite, to materialise Beauty and Love on Earth in a Divine Union of their qualities.
